The Sims 3 Home Design (6)

It's been more than a year I haven't touched The Sims 3 (cause I was way too focus on League of Legends). Then what makes me decide to come back to Sim-ing? Internet! This freaking lame internet in this house! I am living with the other 7 students here and all of us consume internet like food and water. Worse is when you live in the basement and the wifi is lying down on the main floor! You won't get at all a stable, if not any, connection. With such connection, how the hell can I enjoy my League of Legends?

But anyway, I am bringing back another present from The Sims 3. And, here's another The Sims 3 design, of course by me :) This piece looks more of a contemporary design with some woody touch. And one HIGHLY IMPORTANT thing to note: some objects used in my design are NOT owned by me. Credits to The Sims Resource's artists who have spent their time creating these wonderful crafts. Thank you :)
and don't mind my complain about the internet, btw.

Roof, just roof.

Main Bedroom on the first floor (It's my bedroom!)

Main Kitchen and a small dining room for five.
Washroom, nothing special.
Well, another Washroom. anw, it's my personal washroom!
Personal Office from entry perspective.
And another Office from different perspective.
My very own Studio Room. No trespassing!
Garage with some vehicles, am not really interested in automotive tho.

I know, I know I do not show you all the rooms (that's too many pictures for a post). So, I am only showing the main rooms of this house in this post. And... and, I know I suck at gardening, but don't worry! I will work hard to improve my landscaping skill.

Celebrating The 69th in Winnipeg

Happy Independence Day, INDONESIA!

The Indonesian community here in Winnipeg does not even exceed a hundred people, but good thing is the population keeps growing, well slowly but steadily. Few it is but we as proud Indonesians here in Canada will never forget our own identity. 17 August means so much to us as well as to other Indonesians. It is our Independence Day! Happy 69th Independence Day, Indonesia! We love you.

To that girl, I say Happy 20th Birthday!

August 13, this date always reminds me of my special person's birthday. The girl whom I had a crush on, the girl whom I loved so much and she who broke my heart into pieces. To that girl, I would like to say Happy 20th Birthday! and I wish all the very best for her :)

"Something always brings me back to you, it never takes too long."
Sara Bareilles' Gravity

How have you been doing? I expect your answer to be either fine or good or great. Bad, not good, not fine, and other similar responses, these adjectives you have never used when you replied my texts. But I knew, I always knew what was going on and that you needed someone to share with, I knew, I knew. And now let me ask you again with different tone, how have you and your guy been doing?

True! I said let bygones be bygones. But it is easier said than done. You know, whenever I look at your pictures with your boy, it makes me mad. True! I am very jealous. To think I would be the most brokenhearted person after we parted, that I have never thought of becoming. But often I wonder why did you, no, HOW COULD YOU do that to me? How could you do that behind me? How could you secretly date the guy whom you only knew for quite some months. HOW COULD YOU? I just... could not believe it.

Do you know? No other women I have met make me so in love but you! And, seven years we have known each other, five years we knew we liked each other and three years... And for those three years I have been waiting very patiently. Those three years I knew but I pretended like I knew nothing. I was aware! I knew a lot of guys had confessed to you but I had faith in you. I trusted you and Yep! you rejected every single one of them. But, why not the last guy?

I knew he had been chasing you for the past months and you rejected him several times. But what made you change your mind at last? Did you feel guilty for rejecting him too many times? And did you NOT feel guilty for breaking my heart? Did you know how brokenhearted I have become? And do you know this scar you inflicted still persists in my heart? I sound pathetic, not?

But it's the past, Kenneth, and you have to let it go! my mind tells me. Will I let it go? Maybe. And yet, you have made your decision anyway and that was the path you chose. And what can I do? I knew you are a smart girl and so, you know what and how to pick what's best for you. So, go on! Keep on going! And, don't look back! And, happy birthday my girl. Be Happy, forever! :)
But there is one thing you have to know: I am still waiting for you. Happy Birthday!

Gimli! (after final exam)

Summer course is indeed never fun, seriously! Oh well, Summer is intended to be a long break specially for students (and teachers). my bad to take a course during Summer! It is somewhat suffocating for me to study at rather quick pace and it's a freaking online course. It was an Environmental Science course which for me, is pretty intriguing yet challenging. The final was very specific, personally saying. Lucky me I revised a week before the exam. I will be doing fine in this course. #optimist.

So... the following day (after my stressful exam) I went to Gimli. Yay! I was the only Indonesian guy who went to Gimli with the university. My Indo friends, well most of them are going back, but those who stay could not make it because of their freaking finals held on the weekend, really! But no worries, I could make some friends there!

A bit about Gimli. Gimli is a very nice vacation spot with tons of recreation attractions. Back then, Gimli was founded by the Icelandic settlers more than a hundred years ago. Here, you can taste the Icelandic treats which are very sweet and filling, try more local food, see and learn more about historic places, and of course enjoy the beach! Check more about Gimli, here.

From U of M, we departed at eight past five (yeah, five minutes late) and the trip took like an hour and thirty minutes, so let's say we arrived there at 9:30. We were allowed to explore but we had to meet up at 12:45 for some tour. Coming alone here without any friends and not knowing the area well and worse, not having any plan for my cell, I really had to stick up with some other guys! I just didn't want to get lost. And yes! I was paired with the other 4 awesome people - David, Yenly, Charles, and Tasneem - and together, we began our journey haha.
[from here on, you will see less texts and more pictures]

These are the five awesome people ;)

Gimli Bakery
sells lots of Icelandic sweet treats! (the upper left is Vinatarta)

 Mermaid's Kiss Gallery MUST VISIT!
Lots of interesting artworks by Kenneth Gordon and more artists.

Chicken Chef
For lunch, we went to this restaurant and most of us, except Tasneem and Charles, had boneless chicken served with honey garlic sauce with side dish.

Near A-Spire Theatre, a more-than-one-century-year-old church is still standing firmly.
The three of us (Charles, Tasneem and I) were the only students to to have the chance to enter this holy church. We learnt and heard more about this sacred and historic place. We felt very blessed for this opportunity.

It was at 1 sharp, tour started and the four of us (exclude Charles) were busy taking pictures and it cost us the tour (but managed to catch up in the museum). But that's okay, we had fun! :)

New Iceland Heritage Museum
Learn and hear about the Vikings and more here! anw, we caught up with the tour in the museum.

And this walk to the harbor area ends our journey in Gimli! :)

Thanks for the fun we had!
